Established national firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Finance & Banking practice in Nashville. The role will originate and lead commercial lending and finance transactions, advise borrowers and lenders on a range of secured and unsecured financing matters, and manage complex deal execution.

The partner will lead and mentor a transactional team, develop client relationships across the region, and be expected to build and expand a portable practice. This is a practice-focused role with responsibility for business development and delivering high-quality, commercially minded legal advice.

Proven partner-level experience in banking and finance transactions (commercial lending, syndicated loans, asset-based lending, or similar).
Demonstrated track record of originating and maintaining client relationships; ability to bring or grow a portable practice.
Strong drafting, negotiation and deal-management skills on complex financings.
Licensed to practice in Tennessee or able to transfer admission; JD and strong academic credentials.
Experience supervising associates and contributing to business development initiatives.
