Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to expand and lead its private credit and banking practice in New York. This role will focus on advising lenders, credit funds and corporate borrowers on structured credit, direct lending and secured financings.

The partner will work closely with experienced teams across finance and corporate practices, originate and nurture client relationships, and handle complex credit transactions from negotiation through closing. The firm offers significant platform support and opportunities to build a portable practice.

Established partner-level experience in private credit, direct lending or banking transactions.
Proven ability to originate and develop client relationships and a portable practice.
Strong technical drafting and negotiating skills on secured and unsecured financings.
Admission to the New York bar (or eligible) and experience practicing in the U.S. market.
