Leading German-based law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Hamburg office within the Finance & Banking and Corporate teams. The role focuses on asset management and investment management work for institutional and private clients across regulatory, transactional and fund-advisory matters.

The successful candidate will lead client engagements, originate new mandates and mentor junior lawyers. This is a partner-level role offering a platform to grow and run a portable practice in asset/investment management.

Established partner-level experience in asset management and investment management work (funds, managers, investment products).
Proven track record of originating and managing client relationships; ability to develop a portable practice welcomed.
Qualified to practise in Germany (admission or equivalent) with excellent commercial awareness.
Fluent German and strong English language skills; team leadership and business development experience.
