Leading national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Chicago finance and corporate team. The role focuses on advising asset managers and investment funds on transactional, regulatory and fund-formation matters.

The successful candidate will have an established investment/asset-management practice and will work with a cross-disciplinary team handling fund transactions, investment management agreements and related regulatory issues. The position offers a platform to continue building a portable practice and to originate and cultivate client relationships.

Established partner-level experience in asset management or investment management work
Proven track record of originating and managing client relationships; portable practice welcomed
Strong transactional and regulatory experience relating to funds and investment management
Ability to work collaboratively with corporate and finance teams on complex matters
