Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Chicago finance and corporate practice. The role will handle sophisticated finance, investment management and asset management matters for institutional and sponsor clients.

The team values technical excellence, transactional experience and strong client service. The successful candidate will advise on complex financings and related corporate work, mentor junior lawyers, and work closely with partners across practice groups.

Portable practice is welcome but there is no strict minimum book-of-business requirement; candidates at a range of partner seniorities will be considered.

Partner-level experience in finance and corporate transactions, with demonstrable work in asset or investment management.
Track record of leading deals and advising institutional clients or sponsors.
Strong client development and relationship-management skills; portable practice welcome but not required.
Bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction and ability to work in Chicago.
