Leading national law firm seeks a partner to join its Montreal finance and corporate team with a focus on private equity and venture capital. The role combines client-facing origination with hands-on deal execution across buyouts, growth financings and related corporate matters.

The ideal candidate will lead and grow a portable practice, mentor senior associates, and work collaboratively across the firm's finance and corporate groups. This is a senior role offering a platform to expand market presence in Quebec and nationally.

Established partner-level experience in private equity, venture capital and corporate finance transactions.
Proven track record of originating and leading complex deals and managing client relationships.
Experience supervising and developing junior lawyers and working in multi-disciplinary teams.
Admission to the relevant Canadian bar (Quebec preference) and ability to work in a bilingual environment is an asset.
Portable book of business or demonstrable client origination capability.
