Seeking a lateral partner to join a well-established, full-service international firm’s Charlotte office to lead and grow finance, corporate and securities work. The role will focus on private equity, venture capital and capital markets matters across the region and nationally.

The successful candidate will have an existing, portable practice and the ability to generate new business, mentor junior lawyers, and collaborate across practices and offices. This is a visible position with significant client-facing responsibility and firmwide support resources.

Proven partner-level experience in finance, corporate and securities matters, with emphasis on private equity, venture capital or capital markets.
Track record of originating and managing client relationships; portable practice or demonstrable business development capability preferred.
Strong technical skills, excellent drafting and negotiation abilities, and experience supervising teams.
Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction and willingness to be based in the Charlotte office.
