Leading national law firm seeks a Lateral Partner to join its Finance, Corporate and Securities practices in Newark. The role will focus on transactional work spanning leveraged finance, private equity and capital markets matters for corporate clients.

The successful candidate will join a full-service team and collaborate with practice leads across corporate and finance groups. This is an opportunity to shape practice strategy, mentor junior lawyers and work on high‑value transactions within a busy practice.

Established partner with significant transactional experience in finance, corporate and/or securities matters
Track record advising on private equity, venture capital and/or capital markets transactions
Proven client development skills; a portable practice or demonstrable origination capability is required
Ability to lead deal teams, manage client relationships and mentor associates
