Leading international law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Wilmington office to lead and grow a finance-focused corporate and securities practice. The role centers on advising private equity, venture capital and capital markets clients on transactional matters across leverage, equity and securities workstreams.

The partner will originate and lead complex transactions, manage client relationships, and work collaboratively with national and international teams. There is an expectation of bringing a portable practice and developing new business while mentoring junior lawyers.

Partner-level experience advising on finance, corporate and securities transactions (private equity, venture capital, capital markets).
Proven track record of originating and closing deals and managing client relationships.
Ability to lead matters, supervise teams and develop business in the region.
Active bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction (or ability to obtain).
