Established national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Finance & Banking team in Raleigh to lead project finance and renewable energy transactions. The role focuses on structuring, negotiating and documenting financing for energy projects and related corporate financings.

The successful candidate will build and lead deal teams, work closely with clients and other practice groups, and help grow a renewable-energy finance practice in the region. A portable practice or demonstrable client-development record in project/renewable finance is welcome.

Proven partner-level experience in project finance, energy financings or large-scale renewable transactions.
Strong transactional drafting and negotiation skills across secured and structured financings.
Track record of client relationships and business development; ability to bring or grow a portable practice.
Experience leading teams and collaborating across practice groups in a commercial law-firm environment.
