Leading national law practice is seeking a Lateral Partner to join its Finance group in the San Diego market, focusing on energy and renewable project financings. The role will involve originating and leading complex debt and structured-finance transactions for sponsors, lenders and energy developers across the U.S.

Ideal candidates will have an established renewable energy/project finance practice and the ability to develop business in the region. The team offers broad platform support across finance, regulatory and commercial aspects of energy deals.

Experienced partner-level finance lawyer with a substantial focus on project finance and renewable energy transactions
Proven track record of leading syndicated and structured financings for energy projects
Portable practice or demonstrable ability to originate and grow client relationships and mandates
Strong commercial judgment, client-management skills and experience mentoring junior lawyers
Admission to practice in California or eligibility to obtain admission
