Seeking a lateral partner to join a major national law firm’s Chicago office to lead and grow a cross-practice Finance & Insurance offering. The role will focus on transactional and regulatory matters at the intersection of financial services and insurance industries.

The partner will advise institutional clients and insurers on complex finance matters, develop new client relationships, and collaborate with teams across offices. This is a visible role with significant business-development and origination expectations; a portable practice is encouraged.

Partner-level experience advising on finance transactions involving insurance clients or products.
Proven business-development and client-origination record; ability to bring or grow a portable practice.
Track record of leading deal teams and mentoring junior lawyers.
Admission to the relevant state bar (Illinois preferred) and ability to work in the Chicago office.
