Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Finance & Insurance practice in Des Moines. The role will focus on transactional and advisory work at the intersection of finance and insurance, handling a variety of matters for corporate and institutional clients (excluding insurer coverage and defense matters).

The team provides cross-practice support on financing transactions, regulatory issues, and insurance-related commercial matters. The successful candidate will join a collaborative office and play a visible role in business development and client management in the region.

Established partner with a track record in finance and insurance-related work.
Proven ability to originate and manage client engagements; a portable practice or demonstrable business development capability is welcome.
Strong transactional, regulatory, and client-facing skills; comfortable working across practice groups.
Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities for developing a local team.
