Lateral Partner — Finance & Insurance, Washington, D.C.

Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Finance & Insurance practice in Washington, D.C. The role focuses on transactional and regulatory matters at the intersection of finance and insurance, supporting clients on complex financings, insurance-related commercial matters, and regulatory compliance.

The team advises insurers, lenders, and financial institutions on a range of matters, excluding insurance coverage defense litigation. The successful candidate will join a collaborative group that handles cross-border and domestic matters and works closely with complementary practices across the firm.

This position is a partner-level role; candidates with an established, portable practice and strong client relationships in finance or insurance are encouraged to apply.

• Established partner with significant experience in finance and/or insurance transactional or regulatory work.
• Proven track record of originating and managing client relationships; a portable practice is preferred.
• Strong technical skills in finance transactions, regulatory compliance, or insurance-related commercial matters.
• Ability to work collaboratively across practice groups and mentor junior lawyers.
