Lateral Partner — Finance, Intellectual Property & Antitrust — San Diego

Opportunity for a lateral partner to lead and grow a cross-practice team focusing on finance-related matters, complex patent litigation (with a life‑sciences and technology emphasis), and antitrust work tied to private equity transactions and disputes. The role sits in the firm's San Diego office and will collaborate with national practice groups.

The firm is seeking an established partner with a portable practice who can originate and manage multi‑disciplinary matters, mentor junior lawyers, and work across finance, IP litigation and antitrust teams. The position offers a platform with national reach and cross‑practice support.

This is a market-facing senior hire; the team values candidates who combine commercial awareness in private equity and finance with deep patent‑litigation and antitrust experience.

• Established partner with a portable practice in finance-related work, patent litigation, and/or antitrust.
• Demonstrated experience handling complex patent litigation (technology and life‑sciences a plus) and antitrust matters related to private equity.
• Proven origination and client‑management record; ability to develop business across practice groups.
• Experience supervising teams and mentoring associates; comfortable working in a national, multi‑office environment.
• Active bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction (California preferred) and eligibility to work in the United States.
