Seeking a partner to join a well-established national law firm’s San Diego office to lead a cross-practice commercial litigation and transactional team. The role combines capital markets/private equity transactional work with IP-focused litigation (notably patent litigation in life sciences and technology) and antitrust/competition matters tied to private equity deals.

The successful candidate will have an existing portable practice and will work with multidisciplinary teams across the firm’s national platform. This is a senior leadership role offering responsibility for client development, matter strategy, and mentoring associates.

Established partner with a portable practice (experience developing and managing client relationships)
Substantive experience in patent litigation and life-sciences/technology IP matters
Experience handling antitrust/competition issues, particularly those arising in private equity transactions
Strong transactional background in capital markets or private equity-related matters and experience leading teams
