Seeking a partner to join a national firm’s Austin office to lead and grow a cross-practice platform focused on private equity-related finance and litigation. The role will combine transactional finance work with complex patent and antitrust litigation matters, with particular strength in life‑sciences and technology disputes.

The team works collaboratively across corporate, IP and antitrust groups on matters that intersect private equity and technology clients. This opportunity suits a partner who wants a high-profile regional base while leveraging national resources and an open compensation model.

Portable business is welcome; the firm is seeking a partner able to bring and develop client relationships and to mentor junior lawyers across the related practices.

Established partner with a record of originating or significantly growing client relationships (portable business welcomed)
Practical experience on private equity-related financings and portfolio company matters
Substantial patent litigation experience, preferably with life‑sciences or technology clients, and/or antitrust litigation tied to private equity matters
Ability to work effectively across corporate, IP and antitrust practices and to develop a regional practice out of Austin
