A leading international law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Houston team to strengthen a combined finance and intellectual property litigation offering. The role will split time between high‑stakes patent litigation and complex finance matters, including leveraged and structured finance transactions.

The partner will lead case strategy and transactions, work closely with cross‑practice teams, and be expected to steward and grow client relationships in the region. This is a hands‑on role with significant opportunity to shape practice direction and drive business development.

Partner‑level experience handling patent litigation and significant exposure to structured/leveraged finance matters.
Proven courtroom and/or litigation management track record plus strong transactional drafting and negotiation skills.
Demonstrable client relationships and ability to originate and grow business (portable practice preferred).
Excellent leadership, client service, and cross‑team collaboration skills; admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction preferred.
