Lateral Partner — Finance & Securities, Washington, D.C.

Leading law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Finance and Securities practice in the Washington, D.C. office. The role focuses on capital markets and related finance matters, advising corporate and institutional clients on complex transactions and regulatory issues.

The successful candidate will lead matters, develop and maintain client relationships, and work collaboratively across practices. There is an expectation of bringing or building a portable practice consistent with a partner-level role.

• Proven partner-level experience in capital markets, finance or securities work.
• Track record of originating and managing client relationships and leading deal teams.
• Strong technical drafting and negotiation skills on transactional and regulatory matters.
• Bar admission in the District of Columbia (or willingness to obtain) and ability to work in the D.C. office.
