Leading German firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Stuttgart office within the Government & Public and Compliance & Regulatory practice groups. The role will focus on advising public sector bodies, regulated entities and private clients on government-related matters, regulatory compliance and government contracts.

The successful candidate will take a senior role on originating and supervising mandates, developing cross-practice solutions, and mentoring junior lawyers. The team advises on transactional and advisory matters that intersect public law and regulatory regimes.

A portable practice and demonstrable business development capability are welcomed and will be considered in appointment decisions.

Established partner with a strong background in government/public law and regulatory compliance, including government contracts.
Proven track record of originating work and leading client relationships; portable practice desirable.
Admitted to practise in Germany or equivalent qualification; fluent German and strong English skills.
Experience managing teams and working across practice areas on complex matters.
