National law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Raleigh office to lead and grow a healthcare-focused intellectual property litigation practice. The role will handle IP disputes and related litigation for life sciences and healthcare clients, working with cross-practice teams.

Ideal candidates will be experienced trial litigators with deep knowledge of patent and other IP issues in the healthcare and life sciences sectors. The firm is looking for a partner who can originate or bring a portable practice and who will mentor junior lawyers and contribute to business development locally and regionally.

Partner-level experience in IP litigation, ideally with matters involving healthcare or life sciences clients
Proven trial and/or contested litigation experience and strong written and oral advocacy skills
Demonstrable business development ability or a portable practice
Experience supervising and developing associates and collaborating across practice groups
Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction or ability to obtain admission
