Leading national law firm seeks a partner to grow and lead a Healthcare-focused Intellectual Property litigation practice in its San Diego office. The role will handle IP disputes and regulatory-adjacent litigation matters for clients in life sciences, medtech, and related healthcare sectors.

The partner will work with an established regional team, develop client relationships, manage complex cases from briefing through trial, and mentor more junior litigators. Portable business is welcome and the role offers a platform to expand an existing book of business.

Established partner-level experience in IP litigation, preferably with healthcare or life sciences matters
Proven ability to originate and manage client relationships; portable book of business welcomed
Trial and motion practice experience in federal and state court
Team leadership and mentoring track record
Active bar admission and eligibility to practice in California (or willingness to obtain)
