Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to build and lead its Healthcare & Life Sciences practice in the Chicago office. The role will be client-facing and practice-driving, supporting a mix of regulatory, compliance, transactional and advisory matters for healthcare and life-sciences clients.

The successful candidate will have significant partner-level experience, a proven record of originating and managing client relationships, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across regulatory, commercial and policy matters. Candidates should be comfortable advising hospitals, health systems, life-sciences companies and related stakeholders.

A portable practice or established client relationships are welcome; the firm offers resources to support growth and cross-practice collaboration within a large, national platform.

Partner-level experience in healthcare and/or life sciences law with a proven track record of client development
Substantive experience in healthcare regulatory and compliance matters; transactional and commercial experience preferred
Ability to lead and mentor teams and work cross-functionally with other practice groups
Licensed to practice in Illinois or able to obtain admission; strong professional references and reputation in the market
