Well-established national healthcare practice is seeking a lateral partner to join its San Diego team. The role focuses on counseling healthcare and life sciences companies across regulatory, compliance and commercial matters, and will collaborate with cross-office teams on complex transactions and strategic client work.

The ideal hire will help grow and consolidate the practice locally, take responsibility for client relationships and business development, and mentor more junior lawyers. This is a partner-level opening where a portable practice or originated client relationships will be valued.

Partner-level experience advising clients in healthcare and life sciences (regulatory, compliance, transactions or related matters)
Proven business development and client relationship track record; portability of client relationships beneficial
Ability to lead matters and mentor associates; experience working across multi-office teams
Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction (California preferred) and strong written and oral communication skills
