Leading national law firm is seeking a Lateral Partner to develop and lead its healthcare and life sciences practice in the San Diego market. The role will focus on advising emerging and established life sciences companies on regulatory, commercial and transactional matters.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative team that handles cross-border, corporate and regulatory work for clients across the sector. This is a visible position with opportunity to originate and grow substantive client relationships and to shape practice strategy locally.

Established partner-level experience advising healthcare and life sciences clients (regulatory, commercial or transactional matters).
Track record of business development and ability to originate or expand client relationships; portable practice considered.
Bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction and standing to practice in California or ability to qualify quickly.
Strong commercial judgment, excellent client-management skills, and experience mentoring junior lawyers.
