Lateral Partner — Insurance Coverage (New York)

Seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow a policyholder-side insurance coverage practice in New York. The role combines high-stakes coverage litigation, counseling on complicated policies, and active involvement in transactional work, including M&A due diligence and representation-and-warranty coverage issues.

The team provides a strong platform for client development and origination credit, with significant opportunities to build a national practice advising corporate policyholders and working closely with litigation and transactional colleagues. This hire will take a central role in driving business development and managing complex coverage matters from counseling through contested litigation.

• Established partner with substantial experience representing policyholders in insurance coverage matters (coverage litigation, counseling, and coverage aspects of transactions).
• Track record of client origination and relationship development; a portable book of business is preferred but not required.
• Experience handling complex policies, indemnity issues, and coordinating coverage strategies with M&A due diligence and R&W matters.
• Excellent litigation and client counseling skills, strong commercial judgment, and ability to lead a team and develop business.
