Seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow an insurance-coverage litigation practice in the Charlotte office of a highly regarded law firm. The role focuses on representing policyholders in disputed coverage matters and providing insurance counseling across complex commercial disputes.

The ideal hire will manage a litigation docket, mentor junior lawyers, and work closely with clients on coverage strategy and dispute resolution. There is opportunity to build a portable practice and contribute to client development efforts regionally.

Established partner-level experience in insurance-coverage litigation, with a track record representing policyholders (not insurers)
Experience handling complex coverage disputes, coverage counseling, and related litigation strategy
Proven client-development skills and comfort with growing a portable practice
Leadership and mentoring experience in a litigation team; strong written and oral advocacy skills
Bar admission in North Carolina or eligibility to transfer/obtain admission
