Lateral Partner — Intellectual Property & Antitrust (Austin)

Well-established national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Austin office to lead and grow a trial-focused IP and antitrust practice. The role will cover patent litigation (with a strong life‑sciences and technology focus) and antitrust matters connected to private‑equity work, collaborating with multi‑office teams on high‑stakes disputes.

The partner will have a prominent role developing and executing litigation strategy, supervising associate teams, and expanding client relationships across corporate and regulatory matters. The team offers close collaboration with corporate and energy practices and access to a broad platform for cross‑practice opportunities.

Portability of an existing practice or client relationships is welcome; the position emphasizes business development and leadership within a national litigation platform.

• Established partner with significant experience in patent litigation and antitrust litigation, ideally including life‑sciences and technology matters.
• Proven trial and contested‑litigation experience and the ability to lead litigation teams.
• Track record of originating or growing client relationships; portable practice preferred.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills and comfort working across offices and practice groups.
