Lateral Partner — Intellectual Property & Antitrust (Private Equity focus) — Washington, D.C.

Seeking a lateral partner to join a major national firm’s Washington, D.C. office to lead and grow a cross-disciplinary practice at the intersection of patent litigation and antitrust/private equity work. The role combines complex IP litigation (with a strong life‑sciences and technology focus) and antitrust litigation matters arising from private‑equity transactions.

This is a partner-level role for an experienced rainmaker who will handle high‑stakes litigation and counsel sophisticated corporate clients. The position offers a platform to develop matters across IP, antitrust and corporate teams and to mentor junior lawyers.

• Established partner with a proven litigation track record in patent litigation and/or antitrust litigation.
• Demonstrable experience advising clients in life sciences and technology sectors; experience with private equity‑related antitrust matters is a plus.
• Proven client development skills and a portable book of business or ability to generate significant new business.
• Deep trial and motion practice experience, strong writing and oral advocacy skills, and ability to lead teams on complex, multi‑forum matters.
