Leading law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Intellectual Property practice in Austin. The role focuses on delivering high-value IP advice and representation across a mix of technology and life-sciences matters for national and regional clients.

The successful candidate will help expand and lead the local IP team, collaborating with attorneys across offices to grow the practice. Candidates with an established, portable practice or demonstrable client relationships will be given priority.

Several years of partner-level IP experience with a proven track record of originating and managing client work.
Active bar admission(s) in good standing; patent-bar admission if relevant to your practice area.
Experience supervising associates and contributing to business development and firm leadership.
Strong technical aptitude and experience counseling clients on IP strategy and enforcement.
