Lateral Partner — Intellectual Property — Bloomfield Hills

A well-established law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Intellectual Property practice in Bloomfield Hills. The role focuses on leading IP matters, providing strategic counseling to clients, and developing the practice locally and regionally.

The successful candidate will lead engagements, mentor and grow a team of associates, and play a visible business-development role. A portable practice or demonstrable client relationships will be highly valued.

• Proven partner-level experience in intellectual property law (patent, trademark, or IP litigation and counseling).
• Track record of originating or managing client relationships; portable business preferred.
• Strong courtroom and/or transactional experience relevant to IP matters; ability to supervise and develop junior lawyers.
• Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction or eligibility to transfer/obtain admission.
