Seeking a lateral partner to join a well-established law firm’s Intellectual Property practice in Detroit. The role will lead and grow IP matters across counseling, portfolio management, prosecution and dispute resolution, collaborating with cross-practice teams and local clients.

The firm is looking for an experienced lawyer with a proven ability to originate and develop client relationships and to manage a team of attorneys and staff. Candidates with a portable practice or demonstrable book of business are encouraged to apply.

This is an opportunity to take a leadership role in a busy IP practice within a respected regional/national platform.

Admitted to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction(s).
Established track record in intellectual property law (prosecution, counseling, and/or litigation).
Demonstrable client-development experience and ability to bring or grow business.
Proven leadership, team management and mentoring skills; excellent written and oral advocacy.
