Lateral Partner — Intellectual Property, Hong Kong

Senior hire for a well-established international law firm’s Intellectual Property practice in Hong Kong. The role will lead regional IP matters across China and Greater China, covering both contentious and transactional work.

We are seeking a commercially minded partner able to grow and manage an IP practice, mentor junior lawyers and strengthen client relationships across the region. The role suits a partner with an existing, portable IP client base and a track record of originating work.

• Qualified to practise in Hong Kong (or equivalent common-law jurisdiction) with substantial IP partner-level experience.
• Proven track record across IP contentious and transactional matters in Greater China.
• Portable book of business / client relationships and demonstrable origination history.
• Ability to lead teams, develop business and operate within an international firm environment; language skills relevant to the region are an advantage.
