Lateral Partner — Intellectual Property & Litigation — Austin

Leading national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Austin office to grow and lead a patent litigation practice. The role focuses on managing complex patent disputes, supervising associates, and handling all phases of litigation through trial.

The partner will work closely with an established IP litigation team, drive business development, and expand client relationships in the technology sector. This is a visible role with firm-wide resources and cross‑office collaboration.

• Established track record in patent litigation, including contested matters and trial experience.
• Proven client development ability; portable practice or demonstrable book of business preferred.
• Experience supervising and mentoring associates and leading litigation teams.
• Admission to practice in relevant jurisdictions and ability to work in Austin.
