Seeking a partner to join a busy Chicago IP practice focusing on patent litigation and prosecution. The role involves leading complex patent disputes, managing litigation teams, and coordinating prosecution strategies for a range of clients.

This is a client-facing position with significant business development expectations. The successful candidate will counsel clients across technology and life-sciences sectors, drive case strategy from pre-suit through trial, and mentor junior lawyers.

Established partner-level experience in patent litigation and patent prosecution.
Proven track record of leading complex IP disputes, including trial or dispositive motion experience.
Strong client development skills; demonstrated ability to originate or grow client relationships (portable practice welcomed).
Active bar admission and ability to practice in relevant federal courts; excellent writing and leadership skills.
