Leading international firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Orange County (Irvine) office to expand a high‑value patent litigation practice. The role focuses on managing complex patent disputes across technology and life‑sciences matters, handling all phases from pre‑suit counseling through trial and appeal.

The office offers established litigation platform resources and a national practice footprint; the successful candidate will have the autonomy to grow and lead a portable practice while working with experienced trial teams.

Established partner track record in patent litigation, including motion practice, discovery and trial experience
Proven client development skills and a portable book of business (or demonstrable origination capacity)
Strong technical understanding of patents and ability to manage technical experts
Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction(s) and ability to be admitted pro hac vice as needed
