Lateral Partner — Intellectual Property Litigation — Orlando

A leading international law firm is seeking a Lateral Partner to join its Orlando office to lead and expand a patent litigation practice. The role focuses on managing high-stakes patent disputes, supervising litigation teams, and delivering strategic counseling to corporate clients across technologies.

The successful candidate will handle all phases of patent litigation, from pre-suit strategy through trial and appeals, and will work closely with cross-practice teams on related IP matters. This is an opportunity to join an established platform with national and international resources while maintaining autonomy over a portable practice.

• Established partner with substantial patent litigation experience (including trial and dispositive motion work)
• Track record of originating and managing complex IP litigation matters and leading teams
• Proven client development skills and a portable practice or demonstrated ability to bring significant business
• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction and excellent written and oral advocacy skills
