Seeking a partner to lead and grow a combined intellectual property and litigation practice in Palo Alto. The role blends patent prosecution experience with courtroom and dispute-resolution work across technology-focused matters.

The position offers a senior platform within a well-regarded national/international firm with an established IP litigation group. The successful candidate will help originate and manage matters, collaborate with cross-practice teams, and mentor junior lawyers.

Portable practice and demonstrable business development ability are important; candidates with an existing book of business or who can generate client opportunities will be prioritized.

Established partner-level experience in patent prosecution and patent litigation, preferably with a technology focus.
Admissions to practice in relevant U.S. jurisdictions and standing in good professional order.
Track record of originating and managing client matters; demonstrable business development or portable practice preferred.
Strong leadership, mentoring, and teamwork skills; ability to work cross-functionally with transactional and regulatory teams.
