Lateral Partner — Intellectual Property & Patent Litigation, McLean (Northern Virginia)

Seeking a lateral partner to join the IP litigation group of a leading international law firm’s Northern Virginia office. The role focuses on patent litigation and high-stakes IP disputes for sophisticated clients across technology and related sectors.

This is a client-facing leadership position: you will lead matters in court and at the PTAB, mentor junior lawyers, and work with cross‑office teams on large, complex matters. The office offers national litigation resources and a platform to grow a portable practice.

• Established partner with a portable patent litigation practice or demonstrable client relationships
• Extensive patent litigation experience, including contested proceedings and courtroom exposure
• Strong record of business development and client management
• Active bar admission(s) appropriate for practice in the U.S.; eligibility to practice in Virginia preferred
