Lateral Partner — Intellectual Property (Silicon Valley)

Well-established national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Silicon Valley intellectual property practice. The role combines a substantial patent prosecution and counseling practice with active appellate and international trade litigation experience.

Ideal candidates will have a track record in life sciences-related prosecution and counseling, plus courtroom or appellate exposure including matters before the CAFC and ITC. The position offers a leadership role within a busy IP team and the opportunity to grow a portable practice in the Bay Area.

• Experienced patent lawyer with significant prosecution and counseling background, preferably in life sciences/biotech.
• Demonstrated CAFC and ITC experience (appellate and/or trade litigation).
• Proven ability to manage and develop client relationships and lead matters across technical and commercial teams.
• Portable practice/book of business welcomed; ability to originate and grow client work in Silicon Valley.
