Seeking a lateral partner to join a leading U.S. law firm’s Atlanta office to lead and grow an Intellectual Property and Technology practice. The role will focus on matters across telecommunications and life sciences, with a mix of counseling, transactions and IP strategy.

The partner will be client-facing, responsible for originating and managing engagements, and building relationships across industry clients. The team combines deep technical and commercial experience; the role requires both substantive IP/technology expertise and commercial business development skills.

Established partner-level experience in intellectual property and technology matters, with experience in telecommunications and/or life sciences preferred.
Proven track record of originating or developing client relationships; a portable practice or demonstrable business development capability is encouraged.
Strong technical understanding of IP issues (patents, technology licensing, tech transactions) and experience managing teams and client engagements.
Bar admission and credentialing appropriate for lead partner work.
