Lateral Partner — Intellectual Property & Technology — Los Angeles

Senior lateral partner opportunity for an established intellectual property and technology practitioner to join a major U.S. law firm’s Los Angeles office. The role will lead and grow an IP/technology practice focused on telecommunications and life‑sciences related matters, working on high‑value transactional and strategic counseling assignments.

We seek a partner with an existing portable practice and a demonstrated record of business development and client relationship management. The position offers a leadership role within a broad IP/technology platform, working closely with cross‑practice teams across the firm’s national platform.

• Established partner with a proven, portable IP/technology practice (telecommunications and/or life sciences experience preferred)
• Track record of originating and managing client engagements and developing business
• Strong technical knowledge of IP issues relevant to technology transactions, licensing, or prosecution/defense
• Excellent client relationship, team leadership, and cross‑practice collaboration skills
