Lateral Partner — Intellectual Property & Technology, Washington, D.C.

Leading national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Washington, D.C. IP & Technology group. The role will lead client engagements across intellectual property and technology workstreams, with particular strength in telecommunications and life sciences matters.

The successful candidate will manage, develop and expand a portable practice, mentor junior attorneys, and work collaboratively on cross-practice, client-facing matters. This is a partner-level role for an attorney with an established book of business and demonstrable business-development success.

• Partner-level experience in intellectual property and technology matters, with a focus on telecommunications and/or life sciences.
• Proven track record of originating and growing client relationships; portable practice preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage engagements, and mentor associates.
• Strong litigation, transactional, or counseling experience relevant to IP/tech clients; client-facing business development skills.
• Admission or ability to be admitted to the D.C. bar, or equivalent credentials.
