Leading international law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Dubai disputes team, with a focus on international arbitration arising from construction and infrastructure matters. The role is client-facing and will involve taking responsibility for high-value, cross-border disputes and managing complex procedural and evidentiary issues.

The successful candidate will lead and grow an arbitration practice in the region, working with an experienced local team and advising regional and international clients. A portable practice or demonstrated ability to originate and develop client relationships is welcome.

This is an opportunity to take a senior technical role in a well-established disputes platform in the UAE, contributing to business development and team leadership across the Middle East.

  • Proven partner-level experience in international arbitration, with a construction or infrastructure focus.
  • Track record of originating work or bringing a portable practice; strong business development skills.
  • Experience leading case teams and managing cross-border matters.
  • Familiarity with international arbitral rules and major arbitral institutions; regional experience in the Middle East is an advantage.
  • Admission to practise in at least one common-law or civil jurisdiction.
