Senior partner opportunity in Toronto for an established international trade practitioner to join a full-service trade team. The group advises on customs, trade remedies, sanctions and export controls, anti-corruption matters and treaty/investor-state disputes across public- and private-sector mandates.

The role is for a dedicated trade lawyer with proven business development ability who will lead and grow a portable practice. The team values entrepreneurial partners who can drive client relationships and originate new mandates.

Equity partnership is available depending on fit and contribution; the group seeks a meaningful portable practice and is open to senior candidates up to later-career stages.

Established partner-level experience in trade law, including sanctions, customs, export controls, trade remedies or anti-corruption
Proven business development track record and ability to bring or build a portable practice
Comfort leading cross-border trade matters and treaty/investor-state disputes
Licensed to practise in the relevant Canadian jurisdiction or eligible for transfer; strong client-facing and team leadership skills
