Leading national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its San Francisco investment management and finance practice. The role will focus on advising asset managers and institutional investors on fund formation, investment vehicle structuring and related finance matters.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative team that handles cross-border and domestic transactions, regulatory counseling and commercial agreements. This is a visible, client-facing role with responsibility for cultivating and expanding a portable practice.

Established partner with a demonstrable investment management/asset management and finance transactional practice
Proven client-development skills and capacity to bring or grow a portable book of business
Strong drafting and deal-execution experience on fund formations, manager-side representation and financing arrangements
Active admission to practice in California (or willingness to obtain); excellent communication and team leadership skills
