Seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow a litigation practice focused on patent and antitrust disputes from the firm's Chicago office. The role combines high-stakes patent litigation (with a strong life‑sciences and technology angle) and antitrust matters often tied to private‑equity transactions.

The position is practice‑building and client‑facing: you will handle complex, bet‑the‑company litigation, supervise teams, and collaborate with cross‑practice colleagues. The team supports matters across industry sectors including life sciences, technology and energy.

Proven partner‑level litigation experience in patent and/or antitrust matters, including courtroom or lead trial experience
Established, portable client relationships and demonstrable book‑building capability
Deep knowledge of life sciences and technology-related patent disputes; experience with private‑equity‑related antitrust litigation a plus
Strong business development, team leadership and mentoring skills
Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction or willingness to obtain it
