Leading national firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Chicago litigation team, focusing on patent litigation and antitrust matters arising at the intersection of life sciences, technology and private equity.

The role combines courtroom and trial work with strategic counseling for sophisticated corporate and sponsor clients. The team handles high-stakes patent disputes and competition litigation tied to transactional activity; the partner will lead engagements, manage associate staffing, and help grow a portable litigation practice.

Established partner with significant patent litigation and antitrust/competition experience, ideally involving life sciences and technology clients.
Proven trial or contested-litigation record and ability to lead complex, multi-jurisdictional matters.
Track record of business development and a portable book of business (acceptable to discuss at interview).
Experience managing teams and mentoring associates; comfortable working with private equity and corporate clients.
Active bar admission and ability to practice in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
