Seeking a lateral partner to join a busy Chicago office to lead and expand IP litigation and antitrust practices that intersect with corporate and private equity matters. This role will focus on high-stakes patent litigation (particularly life‑sciences and technology), antitrust disputes tied to transactional work, and related corporate guidance for strategic clients.

The team serves clients across private equity, life sciences, energy and technology sectors. The ideal candidate will run a portable litigation practice, develop client relationships, and mentor junior lawyers in trial and critical-motion work. The group operates within a collaborative, cross‑practice platform serving national and international matters.

Established partner-level litigation practice in patent and/or antitrust matters, with experience in life‑sciences or technology disputes.
Proven experience handling complex, high-stakes patent litigation and antitrust litigation linked to transactions (e.g., private equity deals).
Track record of originating and managing client relationships; ability to bring a portable practice.
Strong trial and briefing experience; ability to supervise and develop associates.
Licensed to practice in relevant U.S. jurisdictions and able to work from the Chicago office.
