Established national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to build and lead its intellectual property litigation practice in Salt Lake City with a focus on healthcare and life sciences matters. The role offers a chance to supervise complex IP disputes, engage with sophisticated healthcare clients, and grow a regional practice within a broader national platform.

Ideal for a trial-capable partner who can manage high-stakes litigation, mentor junior lawyers, and collaborate with cross-practice teams. The team handles patent, trade secret, and other IP enforcement/defense work arising from the healthcare and life sciences sectors.

Admission to practice in the relevant jurisdiction (or ability to obtain admission)
Significant experience leading IP litigation matters, preferably involving healthcare or life sciences clients
Proven trial and courtroom experience and/or substantial motion practice
Demonstrated ability to originate and grow client relationships; portable practice welcomed
Experience supervising associates and working collaboratively across practice groups
